Two Bulls No. 3 © Brad Nack 2013.
This is the third in the series of paintings featuring 2 bulls. These were all finished recently, however I think I am going to work more on one of them. I will post the one I plan to work on tomorrow, then post the progress and hopefully I don’t go too far backwards, although that happens sometimes and the best thing to do is just go with it and see where things end up. Meanwhile, this one above is finished. More tomorrow.

I recently came across this piece which was at the back of my studio. I was saving a bird that got stuck between the wall, when I rediscovered this painting. I like the red legs. About the bird, it had fallen down a gap by a window at the top of the wall and therefore was stuck at the bottom between the interior and exterior walls of the studio. I heard scratching outside when I was inside and scratching inside when I went outside. So, my solution was to cut holes in the wall from the outside. After I cut the third hole, I saw the bird’s head pop into view. A few more tries, please note the space was not wide enough for the bird to open it’s wings effectively, but the bird managed to get out of the wall and fly to a nearby bush. We looked at each other for awhile, then the bird flew away. I named it Wally.
